Data Migration Lead – Property Management Systems – Contract - Hybrid/London

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Data Migration Lead. This is a key role leading the end-to-end data migration workstream, ensuring business-critical data is successfully migrated into a new Property Management platform.

This will be an initial 6 month contract, outside IR35.

What you will be doing:

  • Lead the end-to-end data migration workstream across a complex enterprise transformation programme.
  • Define and own the Data Migration Strategy, covering extraction, cleansing, transformation, validation, testing and cutover activities.
  • Act as the subject matter expert for all data migration activities, providing guidance to both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Work closely with business teams to identify data quality issues and establish effective cleansing and governance processes.
  • Collaborate with Solution Architects and technical teams to ensure the target data model supports business and migration requirements.
  • Develop and maintain detailed migration plans, working alongside Project Managers and delivery teams.
  • Identify migration risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery.
  • Lead the testing and quality assurance approach across all phases of the migration lifecycle.

  • Proven experience leading complex end-to-end data migration programmes from discovery through to go-live.
  • Experience working with Property Management Systems such as MRI PMX, MRI Horizon, Yardi, or similar enterprise platforms.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise applications, data architecture, system integrations and data flows.
  • Excellent SQL and relational database knowledge, with experience of data modelling.
  • Strong understanding of data governance, data quality and master data principles.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical audiences.
