Oracle Fusion Data Migration Lead | £1,000/day | Government Programme | London or Birmingham

Migration is the part of a transformation that cannot slip. The cutover window is fixed, the data has to be right, and three organisations have to agree it is right on the same day. That is the job. £1,000 a day, and it is urgent.

The Role

You would work alongside the department's migration lead, bringing deep specialist knowledge to one of the largest Oracle Fusion programmes in UK government. This is a delivery role, not an advisory one — you would be in the detail of defects, reconciliation and data readiness, and accountable for keeping activity moving. The complexity here is not only technical. Delivery runs across three organisations — the government shared services provider, the department itself, and the systems integrator. Getting migration activity to land on time means working that interface as much as working the data.

You Will

  • Coordinate defect identification, triage and resolution across the migration workstream
  • Drive business reconciliation activity and hold it to programme milestones
  • Own delivery tracking across migration workstreams and surface risk early
  • Lead data cleanse and readiness activity ahead of cutover
  • Work across three delivery organisations to progress activity on time and on target
  • Bring specialist migration judgement to a programme where the window does not move

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Why This One

The rate reflects what this actually is. Migration specialists who can hold their own technically and work a three-way supplier interface under a fixed cutover date are genuinely rare, and this programme knows it. You would be operating at the sharp end of a national Oracle Fusion transformation, on the workstream that determines whether the rest of it can go live. High visibility, real accountability, and no ambiguity about whether the work matters.
