Data Migration Lead (Real Estate/Property Systems)

London/Hybrid

Contract

£700 a day outside IR35

We are recruiting for a Data Migration Lead to support with a property management system project.

What you will be doing:

  • Lead the data migration workstream across a complex enterprise transformation programme.
  • Define and own the Data Migration Strategy, covering extraction, cleansing, transformation, validation, testing, and cutover activities.
  • Act as the subject matter expert for all data migration activities, providing guidance to both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Solution Architects and technical teams to ensure the target data model supports business and migration requirements.
  • Develop and maintain detailed migration plans, working alongside Project Managers and delivery teams.
  • Identify migration risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery.
  • Lead the testing and quality assurance approach across all phases of the migration lifecycle.

  • Data migration experience on property management systems such as Yardi Voyager, MRI Horizon, MRI PMX, or Oracle Opera
  • Strong understanding of enterprise applications, data architecture, system integrations, and data flows.
  • Excellent SQL and relational database knowledge, with experience of data modelling.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical audiences.
