Role Purpose

We are seeking an experienced Data Migration Lead to lead the data workstream within a major Infor LN ERP transformation programme.

The Data Migration Lead will have end-to-end responsibility for planning, coordinating, and delivering the business data activities required to support the implementation and successful go-live of Infor LN. This includes data cleansing, rationalisation, creation of new and reference data, migration preparation, validation and reconciliation, as well as the migration of transactional and financial data during cutover.

This is a business-facing leadership role, requiring the successful candidate to work closely with Business Process Owners, Functional Leads, SMEs, Data Owners, Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, and the ERP implementation team.

The role will manage and coordinate the network of business leads and data owners responsible for preparing and validating data, ensuring that ownership remains within the business while providing the structure, governance, and direction required to deliver to programme timescales.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead the Data Workstream

  • Own and project manage the end-to-end data workstream, establishing the plan, governance, resources, dependencies, and controls required to deliver data readiness for each stage of the ERP programme. Responsibilities will include:
    • Develop and maintain the overall data migration strategy and plan, aligned to the wider ERP programme plan.
    • Define the scope of data to be cleansed, created, rationalised, and migrated.
    • Establish clear ownership and accountability for data domains across the business.
    • Identify data dependencies, risks, and issues and ensure these are actively managed.
    • Define and track data readiness criteria and KPIs.
    • Coordinate data activities across business functions, sites, and ERP workstreams.
    • Provide regular reporting on data readiness, risks, and progress to programme leadership.

2. Data Cleansing and Preparation

  • Lead the preparation of existing business data to ensure it is suitable for migration into Infor LN. This will include:
    • Profiling and assessing the quality of existing data.
    • Defining cleansing requirements and acceptance criteria.
    • Identifying missing, incomplete, inaccurate, obsolete, and duplicate data.
    • Coordinating cleansing activities with business Data Owners and SMEs.
    • Tracking cleansing progress and escalating areas where business action is required.
    • Ensuring cleansed data is validated and formally approved by the appropriate business owners.

3. Data Rationalisation

  • Lead the rationalisation and standardisation of legacy data to support the new ERP operating model and avoid simply replicating legacy practices within Infor LN. Examples may include:
    • Part and item numbers.
    • Item descriptions and classifications.
    • Customers and suppliers.
    • Labour and overhead rates.
    • Units of measure.
    • Warehouses and locations.
    • Generic and miscellaneous codes.
    • Financial dimensions and coding structures.
    • Planning and manufacturing parameters.
    • Other master and reference data.

Work with Business Process Owners and Functional Leads to agree common standards and ensure rationalisation decisions support the target business processes and Infor LN design.

4. Creation of New and Reference Data

  • Coordinate the identification, definition, and creation of data required by the new system that does not exist, or does not exist in the required form, within legacy systems. This will include:
    • Identifying new master and reference data requirements arising from the Infor LN solution design.
    • Establishing templates, standards, and ownership for creation of new data.
    • Coordinating business teams responsible for creating and validating this data.
    • Managing dependencies between configuration, reference data, and master data.
    • Ensuring new data is complete, accurate, and approved in time for migration cycles, testing, and go-live.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
