Data Migration Manager

Rubicon Consulting is currently recruiting for a Data Migration Manager on a 6-month rolling contract based in the East of England.

Role Summary

Develop a detailed project plan including all data migration activities for SGT rollout cluster.

  • Conduct a comprehensive assessment of existing data to determine scope and requirements for each local migration.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functions Master Data Governance and Data Migration Factory as well as local Data Stewards to ensure alignment and readiness for data migration activities.
  • Lead the execution of Data Extraction, Transformation, and Loading (ETL) processes, ensuring data is accurately extracted, transformed, and loaded into the SAP system.
  • Continuously monitor migration activities to ensure they are proceeding according to plan and maintaining data quality standards.
  • Address and resolve any issues or errors that arise during the migration process, ensuring minimal disruption and data integrity.
  • Drive rigorous testing and validation of migrated data to confirm accuracy and completeness in the new system environment.
  • Ensure adequate documentation of the data migration process, including extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) according to compliance and audit standards.
