Data Migration Lead

Role Purpose

We are seeking an experienced Data Migration Lead to lead the data workstream within a major ERP (Infor LN) transformation programme.

The Data Migration Lead will have end-to-end responsibility for planning, coordinating and delivering the business data activities required to support the implementation and successful go-live of Infor LN. This includes data cleansing, rationalisation, creation of new and reference data, migration preparation, validation and reconciliation, as well as the migration of transactional and financial data during cutover.

This is a business-facing leadership role, requiring the successful candidate to work closely with Business Process Owners, Functional Leads, SMEs, Data Owners, Finance, Supply Chain, Operations and the ERP implementation team.

The role will manage and coordinate the network of business leads and data owners responsible for preparing and validating data, ensuring that ownership remains within the business while providing the structure, governance and direction required to deliver to programme timescales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Data Workstream: Own and project manage the end-to-end data workstream, establishing the plan, governance, resources, dependencies and controls required to deliver data readiness for each stage of the ERP programme.
  • Data Cleansing and Preparation: Lead the preparation of existing business data to ensure it is suitable for migration into Infor LN.
  • Data Rationalisation: Lead the rationalisation and standardisation of legacy data to support the new ERP operating model and avoid simply replicating legacy practices within Infor LN.
  • Creation of New and Reference Data: Coordinate the identification, definition and creation of data required by the new system that does not exist, or does not exist in the required form, within legacy systems.
  • Data Migration Cycles: Work closely with the ERP implementation and technical migration teams to plan and execute iterative migration cycles.
  • Data Cutover and Go-Live: Lead the data element of the ERP cutover plan, ensuring all required master, reference, transactional and financial data is successfully transferred into Infor LN for go-live.
  • Business Data Leadership: Lead and coordinate the Business Data Leads, Data Owners and SMEs assigned to support the programme.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
