DATA GOVERNANCE ENGINEER - COLLIBRA
CONTRACT OR PERM
Glasgow (Hybrid working)
Ready to work at the intersection of Data Governance, Python, AI and Financial Services? We’re looking for a hands-on engineer to join a high-profile enterprise programme, designing and enhancing Collibra asset models while building scalable Python solutions for data governance, quality, lineage and regulatory data.

What you’ll bring:
- Strong Python + Pydantic + FastAPI experience
- Hands-on Collibra / Metadata Management expertise
- Data modelling, lineage, taxonomy, quality & governance experience
- REST APIs, JSON, YAML & SQL
- Financial Services / Banking experience
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude or Cursor
- Git, testing, CI/CD and modern engineering practices

Bonus: Collibra APIs & workflows, Snowflake, Databricks, AWS/Azure/GCP, Data Mesh and regulatory frameworks such as BCBS 239 & DORA.
