Job Overview

Shape workforce and organisational insight at TfL

We are looking for a talented Data Modeller to join our Business Services team and help turn complex organisational data into insight that supports decisions across Transport for London.

This is a varied modelling and analytics role, suited to someone who enjoys solving complex problems, working with business stakeholders and building reporting solutions that make data easier to understand and act on.

This role will focus primarily on Occupational Health, wellbeing and workforce-related analytics, helping to shape and mature a growing reporting and insight capability in this area. You will help improve management information, identify trends and support evidence-based decision making using data from SAP and a range of workforce systems, including Occupational Health and employee case management platforms, alongside other business systems and reporting sources. As the role develops, there will be opportunities to apply your modelling and analytical expertise across a wider range of workforce and business challenges.

What you will be doing

  • Building data models, forecasts, scenario analysis and management information products.
  • Developing Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions for business users and senior stakeholders.
  • Working with SAP based ERP data and other enterprise data sources.
  • Supporting Occupational Health, Employee Relations, workforce and attendance-related reporting and analysis.
  • Helping stakeholders understand trends, risks, opportunities and data quality issues.
  • Translating complex data into clear insight for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Improving reporting processes, automation and the consistency of business intelligence outputs.
  • Supporting wider HR, financial, operational and organisational modelling as business priorities change.

What we are looking for

You will be naturally curious, analytical and comfortable working with large and complex datasets. You do not need to be an Occupational Health specialist, but you should be interested in using workforce and operational data to improve decision making.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
