Job Description
BP PLC is seeking a skilled Data Modelling Specialist to coordinate and optimize our data assets. This role is crucial for ensuring the integrity, accessibility, and strategic utilization of data across the organization, supporting robust decision-making and business growth.
Role Purpose
- Own data governance, quality, modelling, and business data requirements.
- Bridge business partners and technical teams.
- Ensure enterprise data is trusted, secure, compliant, and fit for purpose.
Core Responsibilities
- Define and enforce data standards, policies, and controls.
- Manage data quality, risk, metadata, and cataloging.
- Design conceptual, logical, and functional data models.
- Gather and refine business data requirements.
- Translate business needs into actionable data solutions.
- Align and integrate data across multiple systems and domains.
- Validate data mappings and resolve data quality issues.
- Work closely with Data Engineers and Architects.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
- Demonstrated ability in Data Management, Data Governance, Data Analysis, or Data Modelling.
- Experience with enterprise databases and large-scale data platforms.
- Strong SQL proficiency.
