Most companies struggle with internal processes that do not quite work, leaving teams to deal with manual workarounds and unreliable data. Tech Pipeline steps in to fix these broken systems by looking at the logs and finding the actual source of the friction.

We are currently supporting a London-based partner that needs help organizing their internal data flows as they move away from manual spreadsheets and fragmented tools. As a Data Operations Coordinator, you will help our team trace these flows and ensure that the information moving between systems is accurate and useful. This is a fully remote, entry-level position designed for someone who likes solving puzzles and seeing how businesses function behind the scenes.

What you will do

  • Check data logs daily to identify where information transfers between tools have stalled or failed.
  • Update standard operating procedures to reflect changes we make to the routing logic and internal workflows.
  • Audit spreadsheet entries against system records to find discrepancies that might cause reporting errors.
  • Assist in the cleanup of customer and product databases before they are migrated to new software platforms.
  • Document the specific steps needed to resolve common data errors so the client team can handle them independently later.
  • Coordinate with our senior practitioners to test new automation rules and verify they produce the expected results.
  • Monitor shared queues for internal process requests and ensure they follow the correct approval path.
  • Report on recurring bottlenecks in the data flow that might indicate a deeper system issue or logic error.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What we are looking for

  • A logical mindset that enjoys finding the specific point where a process breaks down.
  • Basic familiarity with spreadsheet tools like Excel or Google Sheets, including common formulas and formatting.
  • Clear and concise writing skills, as most of our communication happens through documentation and written updates.
  • A genuine curiosity about how different business software tools interact with each other.
  • The ability to stay focused on repetitive tasks that require high attention to detail, like data verification and entry.
  • A willingness to ask questions when a process does not make sense rather than following instructions blindly.
  • Reliable self-management skills to handle daily tasks in a fully remote environment.

What we offer

  • A fully remote work environment that values results and clear documentation over time spent at a desk.
  • Competitive pay that is attractive for an entry-level role in the operations and data sector.
  • Direct mentorship from senior operations experts who value practical fixes over abstract theory.
  • The chance to see the internal workings of a variety of businesses through our different client projects.
  • A professional culture that avoids unnecessary meetings and respects your focus time.
  • Access to the tools and training needed to understand modern business operations and data management.
  • A permanent, full-time position where your work has a visible effect on how a company functions.

Tech Pipeline operates on a simple principle: we find the problem, fix it, and leave once the system is stable. We do not believe in endless status meetings or decorative slide decks. Instead, we rely on written updates and thorough documentation to keep everyone informed. Because we are a remote-first team, we value people who can communicate their progress clearly and who take pride in making unglamorous processes run perfectly. Our goal is to leave our partners with systems they can actually trust, and we stay involved until the people doing the day-to-day work are confident they can maintain the new workflow on their own.
