Job Description
Are you a commercially minded analyst who thrives at the intersection of data, strategy, and growth? This is a highly visible opportunity within our Routes to Revenue team at Sage, where you will play a critical role in shaping how we drive sustainable in-life revenue growth across our customer base. Working closely with commercial, product, growth, and analytics teams, you will turn complex customer and performance data into clear strategies that accelerate migration, reduce churn, and unlock expansion opportunities.
What You'll Be Doing
- Develop customer segmentation frameworks and commercial models that identify the highest-value opportunities for migration, retention, and expansion.
- Design and maintain analytical models that predict customer behaviour, highlight risk, and quantify growth opportunities across the customer lifecycle.
- Partner with commercial leaders to define data-driven strategies for reducing churn, accelerating migration to strategic products, and increasing customer lifetime value.
- Build prioritisation frameworks that help sales, success, and growth teams target the right customers with the right interventions at the right time.
- Lead analytical workstreams supporting migration programmes, including customer targeting, readiness assessment, opportunity sizing, and benefits tracking.
- Deliver Fintech performance analytics, identifying growth drivers, adoption trends, and opportunities to improve revenue contribution.
- Support executive performance reporting by developing meaningful KPIs, insights, and recommendations that inform strategic decision making.

Key Responsibilities
What We're Looking for
Essential
- Commercial understanding, with experience working in or alongside SaaS, subscription, or recurring revenue business models.
- Proven experience developing segmentation models, commercial frameworks, or analytical models that drive measurable business performance.
- Demonstrated ability to translate analytical findings into actionable growth recommendations for senior stakeholders.
- Strong analytical capability with a track record of turning complex datasets into clear commercial insights.
- Experience supporting customer retention, migration, expansion, or growth initiatives through data-led decision making.
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and independently driving analytical investigations that influence business outcomes.
Preferred
- SQL proficiency and experience querying data warehouses, with Snowflake experience a plus.
- Experience designing propensity, risk, retention, migration, or customer value models.
- Familiarity with customer segmentation techniques, behavioural analytics, and predictive modelling approaches.
- Exposure to Power BI or other visualisation tools for communicating insights effectively.
- Experience working across commercial, product, finance, and strategy functions.
- Exposure to Python or other scripting languages for analytical automation.
- Experience working in agile or fast-paced delivery environments.
