Data Platform Analyst

We are looking for a Data Platform Analyst to join our Business Intelligence team and play a pivotal role in driving the organisation’s data-driven agenda. This position is central to our data strategy, helping to shape scalable, high-quality BI solutions that support decision-making across the business.

Main Responsibilities

  • Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret complex data challenges.
  • Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Work effectively as a self-starter, contributing within a team or independently with minimal supervision.
  • Translate business requirements into clear technical specifications and identify data gaps and risks.
  • Manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality work to tight deadlines.
  • Utilise hands-on experience with the Microsoft Power Platform and BI stack to support delivery.
  • Leverage T-SQL skills to analyse and manipulate data.
  • Support the governance, performance, and scalability of our enterprise-level Power BI implementation.

Our Ideal Candidate

You will be someone who can confidently translate business reporting needs into robust technical requirements, identifying data gaps, risks, and process inefficiencies along the way.

You’ll be comfortable communicating findings to business stakeholders and collaborating closely with development teams to ensure solutions are accurate, scalable, and aligned to organisational goals.

  • A Business Analyst seeking to deepen their technical knowledge
  • A Data Analyst wanting to expand into broader BI and solution-design responsibilities
  • Individuals with experience working within enterprise-scale BI and SQL environments.
  • Knowledge of Database Administration, Software Development Lifecycles, Technical Infrastructure, and IT Service Management practices.
  • Exposure to financial reporting methodologies.
  • Familiarity with FMCG supply-chain concepts.
  • A solid understanding of data warehousing principles and design.
