About The Role
Comply is looking for a Data Platform Architect to define the architecture and integration patterns that power the next generation of our enterprise data platform. You’ll shape how data products, APIs, event streams, semantic models, analytics capabilities, and AI-native interfaces work together to deliver secure, scalable, and reusable solutions across the business.
You’ll love this role if you enjoy solving complex architecture challenges, partnering closely with engineering and product teams, and creating reusable patterns that accelerate delivery. This is a hands-on architecture role where your decisions will influence how customers, internal teams, applications, and AI-powered consumers interact with the Comply Data Platform for years to come.
What You'll Do
- Design end-to-end platform solutions that connect data pipelines, data products, the security master, semantic models, lakehouse technologies, APIs, event-driven services, AI interfaces, and analytics platforms.
- Establish architectural standards for interoperability, including API design, event contracts, data exchange patterns, versioning, and access controls.
- Define scalable integration patterns for customers, partners, and enterprise systems across API, streaming, batch, and self-service access channels.
- Create consistent interfaces that support human users, analytics tools, applications, AI agents, MCP-compatible clients, and LLM-powered experiences.
- Partner with Product, Technology, and Customer teams to ensure new initiatives align with platform architecture and long-term strategic goals.
- Identify opportunities to consolidate capabilities, reduce duplication, and increase platform reuse across the organization.
- Guide architectural decisions with engineering teams while balancing scalability, governance, observability, security, and maintainability.
- Contribute to the long-term technology strategy with a focus on extensibility, modularity, composability, and AI readiness.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
