About the Opportunity
We are recruiting for a specialist data and analytics business in the construction and housebuilding sector. They are building the next generation of their core platform on Microsoft Fabric—moving away from bespoke client setups toward a scalable, productised architecture that powers advanced analytics and native AI capabilities.
What You’ll Do
- Platform Architecture: Design and build a reusable medallion architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold) using Microsoft Fabric, OneLake, Lakehouses, Warehouses, and PySpark/Python.
- Productisation: Move operations to a configurable, multi-client model using metadata-driven ingestion pipelines and standard canonical data models.
- DevOps & Automation: Establish Git-based version control, CI/CD, and deployment pipelines to automate client environment setups across Dev, Test, and Production.
- Security & Governance: Apply Entra ID, RBAC, managed identities, and row/column-level security to isolate client data safely while maintaining reusable IP.
- AI & Analytics Foundation: Prepare semantically meaningful, permission-aware data layers ready for Power BI, predictive analytics, natural-language querying, and AI agents.

What We’re Looking For

- Proven hands-on engineering experience with Microsoft Fabric, PySpark, Python, SQL, Delta Lake, and Git/CI/CD.
- Strong ability to build end-to-end data pipelines and translate architectural decisions into production-grade deployments.
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with multi-tenant or SaaS data platforms.
- Hands-on knowledge of Fabric REST APIs, Azure DevOps, Terraform, dbt, or Fabric Deployment Pipelines.
- Exposure to AI/ML workflows (MLflow, Microsoft Foundry, AI data agents, or natural-language interfaces).
