We're working with a leading PE backed residential real estate services group operating across multiple well known business units, following a period of rapid acquisition and growth.

The business is in a high growth phase and is actively investing in modernising its data and reporting capability, backed by a newly appointed Head of Data driving this transformation. This is a great time to join and play a leading role in building the organisation's next generation data platform from the ground up.

The Role

We're hiring a Data Platform Manager to lead the data platform team and implement the organisation's next generation data platform capabilities.

This is a hands on leadership role combining people management, platform implementation and strong technical contribution, giving you the chance to shape governed, scalable data foundations that support business intelligence, analytics engineering, data science and AI across the business.

What you'll be doing:

  • Leading a cross functional team spanning Data Engineering and Analytics Engineering
  • Implementing a medallion architecture that supports trusted, reusable and well governed data assets
  • Overseeing ingestion, transformation, orchestration, modelling and lifecycle management across the data platform
  • Establishing strong engineering practices for version control, automated testing, deployment and operational support
  • Owning delivery planning, technical prioritisation and continuous improvement of the platform
  • Partnering with governance, catalogue and master data teams to ensure platform outputs are trusted and usable

What we're looking for:

  • Proven experience leading Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering or modern data platform teams
  • Experience implementing and managing data warehouse, lakehouse or medallion architecture patterns
  • Expert knowledge of data ingestion, transformation, orchestration and SQL based development
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders, Enterprise Architecture and governance functions
  • Bonus, experience with Microsoft Fabric, Databricks or Azure Synapse

This is a Permanent role, with hybrid working based in London.
