As Data Platforms Lead, you will play a critical role in defining and evolving the data platforms that power analytics, AI, and data-driven decision-making across the organisation. This is an opportunity to influence strategy, drive innovation, and create the foundations that unlock business value on a global scale.
Working within an inclusive, innovative global FMCG business supported by 25,000 employees, you will lead the governance, lifecycle, and strategic direction of enterprise data platforms, ensuring they are secure, scalable, and fit for the future. Partnering with teams across Data & Technology, Security, Architecture, Governance, and Engineering, you will help deliver platform capabilities that enable growth, enhance control, and maximise the value of data across the business.
Principle Accountabilities
- Define and maintain enterprise data platform guardrails, standards, and reference patterns, ensuring consistent and effective platform adoption across the organisation.
- Own the governance and lifecycle of enterprise and domain data platforms, ensuring they remain secure, scalable, resilient, and aligned to Data & AI and enterprise technology strategy.
- Provide oversight of IBH platform delivery activities, ensuring solutions comply with established standards, architectural principles, and governance requirements.
- Ensure platforms comply with security, data governance, privacy, and risk management requirements.
- Drive platform and data standardisation across the enterprise, reducing fragmentation, and enabling Data Product and Data Asset teams through reusable capabilities, frameworks, and self-service tooling.
- Monitor and continuously improve platform performance and value delivery, overseeing adoption, capacity, cost efficiency, operational health, and improvement backlogs.

Skills and Experience Required
- Professional experience and qualifications in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, Data, Cyber Security, Architecture, or a related discipline.
- Significant experience across data and technology domains, including data, analytics, AI, data products, data platforms, governance, or data architecture, with a proven track record operating as a senior specialist, technical lead, product/platform lead, or process owner.
- Demonstrable experience developing and managing strategic frameworks including roadmaps, standards, lifecycle plans, design guardrails, governance models, and service improvement plans within complex enterprise environments.
- Strong practical understanding of enterprise technology delivery, including architecture principles, security, service management, operational resilience, and supplier or partner operating models.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams to develop pragmatic and sustainable solutions.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills, with the ability to balance innovation, cost, risk, reliability, compliance, and delivery feasibility.
