Data Privacy Paralegal
Our client, a top law firm, is seeking a Data Privacy Paralegal to join their team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a legal background and an interest in technology and data protection to develop a specialist career in data privacy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support data mapping exercises and maintenance of Records of Processing Activities
- Assist with GDPR and UK GDPR compliance activities
- Conduct privacy reviews for internal projects, procurement, and vendor onboarding
- Prepare data transfer agreements and related documentation
- Support Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs) and incident management processes
- Maintain privacy governance records and audit-ready documentation
- Assist with regulatory audits, enquiries, training programmes, and policy updates

About You:
- Strong interest in data protection, privacy law, GDPR, and UK GDPR
- Data privacy qualifications or formal GDPR training would be advantageous
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with both legal and non-legal stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
