Data Privacy Specialist - Remote - Growing data consultancy - 2+ years' data privacy experience

The Opportunity

We're working with a well-established and fast-growing data consultancy on the appointment of a Data Privacy Specialist.

This is a genuinely broad privacy role. This is an exciting opportunity to work across a global client base on the full spread of privacy work audits, breaches, policy, training and outsourced DPO engagements.

The team is growing, and as such this is an opportunity to work in a high growth business and to be part of a friendly and supportive team. This role is fully remote.

The role would suit a data privacy specialist with over 2 years' experience working within the data privacy space.

What you'll be doing

  • Running data audits and health checks for clients, and turning findings into recommendations they can actually act on
  • Supporting clients through data breaches, from initial assessment to regulator engagement
  • Drafting and reviewing privacy policies, notices, procedures and related documentation
  • Designing and delivering data protection training to client teams
  • Acting as outsourced DPO for clients, becoming a trusted point of contact for their day-to-day privacy questions
  • Keeping on top of regulatory developments and translating what they mean in practice

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
