Role Description

The Data Processor is a full-time, on-site role located in St Albans, responsible for accurately entering, organizing, and maintaining project and customer data in company systems. Day-to-day tasks include processing data from design plans, site reports, and customer documentation, ensuring information is up to date and properly coded. The role involves working closely with the design and construction teams to support scheduling, resource allocation, and project documentation. The Data Processor will generate reports, check data for errors or inconsistencies, and communicate with colleagues to clarify missing or unclear information. This position also supports customer service by providing accurate data for quotations, project updates, and internal records.

  • Strong data handling skills, including Data Entry and basic data management in spreadsheets or databases.
  • Effective Communication and Customer Service skills to interact with internal teams and external contacts professionally.
  • Familiarity with Construction environments or projects, with an understanding of project documentation and workflows.
  • Exposure to Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools or the ability to interpret CAD outputs is an advantage.
  • Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Comfort with standard office and data processing software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Word, and similar applications).
  • Ability to work on-site in St Albans and collaborate effectively within a small, multidisciplinary team.
  • Relevant experience in data processing, administration, or a similar role; formal qualifications in business, IT, or construction-related fields are beneficial.
