As Data Product Lead, you will define and deliver high-value data products for your domain, ensuring data is trusted, well-governed, and aligned to business needs. Working closely with Data & AI leaders, architects, and business stakeholders, you will help enable analytics, AI, and better decision-making across the enterprise.

Principle Accountabilities

  • Define and maintain the domain data product strategy, standards, and architectural principles, ensuring alignment with the wider Data & AI strategy and enterprise architecture direction.
  • Own and prioritise the domain data product backlog, including data products, data assets, quality improvements, metadata, lineage, foundational pipelines, and ongoing enhancement activities.
  • Lead domain data governance activities, ensuring clear data ownership, effective business requirement gathering, compliance and robust issue management and escalation.
  • Partner with and provide leadership to Data Product teams, shaping data requirements, ensuring delivery readiness, and guiding value-driven product development, data engineering, architecture, and master data management activities.
  • Oversee domain data quality, metadata, catalogue management, lineage models, and semantic definitions.
  • Collaborate closely with Business Process Owners, Data Owners, Product Owners, and Tower Domain Leads to align data products with operational processes and business priorities, manage domain priorities and roadmaps, and drive continuous improvement.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Professional experience and qualifications in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, Data, Cyber Security, Architecture, or a related discipline.
  • Significant experience across data and technology domains, including data, analytics, AI, data products, data platforms, governance, or data architecture, with a proven track record operating as a senior specialist, technical lead, product/platform lead, or process owner.
  • Demonstrable experience developing and managing strategic frameworks including roadmaps, standards, lifecycle plans, design guardrails, governance models, and service improvement plans within complex enterprise environments.
  • Strong practical understanding of enterprise technology delivery, including architecture principles, security, service management, operational resilience, and supplier or partner operating models.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams to develop pragmatic and sustainable solutions.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills, with the ability to balance innovation, cost, risk, reliability, compliance, and delivery feasibility.
