Data Product Lead / Product Manager – High-Growth Data & Insights Organisation

My clients growing healthcare data and analytics company is seeking a Data Product Lead / Product Manager to help shape and scale a portfolio of high-value data products used across healthcare, life sciences, research, insurance, and financial services.

This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of product management, data science, data engineering, and healthcare analytics, helping transform complex datasets into products that support critical business and research decisions.

You'll play a central role in defining product strategy, translating market needs into technical requirements, and guiding cross-functional teams through product development and delivery.

The ideal candidate combines strong commercial awareness with technical fluency and enjoys working in environments where product, data, and technology are closely intertwined.

What You'll Be Doing

Product Strategy & Leadership

  • Own and drive the evolution of key data products throughout their lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to define product vision, roadmap, and growth opportunities.
  • Translate customer needs, market intelligence, and industry trends into actionable product initiatives.

Product Development & Technical Delivery

  • Create detailed product requirements and technical specifications for engineering and data science teams.
  • Work closely with data engineers, software engineers, and data scientists to deliver scalable, high-quality products.
  • Validate new features and product enhancements through testing and stakeholder feedback.
  • Ensure products are developed with strong foundations in data quality, compliance, auditability, and scalability.

Customer & Market Engagement

  • Engage directly with customers, partners, and subject matter experts to gather feedback and identify new opportunities.
  • Act as a product expert, communicating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Support customer success and issue resolution activities.

What We're Looking For

Experience in Technical Product Management

  • Strong understanding of modern data platforms, analytics products, or SaaS solutions.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications.
  • Experience working closely with engineering and data science teams.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience balancing commercial objectives with technical delivery considerations.
  • AI literacy.

Desirable

  • Experience working with healthcare, life sciences, clinical, insurance, or regulated data environments.
  • Knowledge of cloud data platforms such as AWS, Azure, Snowflake, Databricks, or similar technologies.
  • Understanding of data governance, compliance, privacy, and security principles.
  • Exposure to data science, machine learning, or advanced analytics products.
