Data Product Manager – 6 Month Contract | West Yorkshire (3 days per week in the office)
I’m currently looking for a Data Product Manager to join a major UK organisation on an initial 6-month contract.
This is a senior product role focused on data platforms, data products and data warehousing, working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver data capabilities that create real business value.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Owning and managing the data product roadmap and backlog
- Translating business priorities into clear data product requirements
- Working closely with Data Engineering, Architecture and Technology teams
- Prioritising features and initiatives based on business value and delivery feasibility
- Communicating product vision, strategy and roadmap to senior stakeholders
- Ensuring data products deliver measurable outcomes and agreed KPIs
- Supporting strong data governance, security, quality and regulatory compliance
- Driving Agile ways of working across data delivery teams
- Managing dependencies and ensuring effective delivery across multiple teams

- Strong experience in Data Product Management / Data Product Ownership
- Experience working with data platforms, data warehouses or data products
- Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, Azure Synapse or similar cloud data platforms
- Strong experience owning product roadmaps and backlogs
- A good understanding of data engineering and modern data architecture
- Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- The ability to translate business requirements into clear data priorities
- Experience working with data governance, quality and security requirements
- A senior, commercially-minded approach to product management
