Data Product Manager – GTM Data & Intelligence
9-Month Contract | Fully Remote – UK | Up to £400 per day
We are looking for an experienced Data Product Manager to join a global SaaS organisation on an initial 9-month contract, working within its Go-to-Market Data & Intelligence function.
This role sits at the intersection of business strategy, data, analytics and engineering, taking strategic business priorities and turning them into scalable, trusted and actionable data products.
You’ll need strong Product Management fundamentals alongside experience working with data and analytics products within a SaaS environment. The strongest candidates will have experience across Customer Data, Business Intelligence, Data Governance or Data Science products.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate strategic business objectives into clear product strategies, roadmaps, epics, releases and executable plans.
- Lead product discovery with business stakeholders and technical teams to understand requirements, use cases and desired outcomes.
- Own prioritisation based on business value, strategic fit, technical feasibility, dependencies and implementation effort.
- Work closely with Data Engineers, Analysts, Data Scientists, BI teams, Engineering Managers and Data Governance specialists.
- Manage product backlogs, requirements, dependencies, risks, acceptance criteria and release readiness.
- Ensure data products remain aligned with both customer requirements and wider commercial objectives.
- Build alignment across multiple senior stakeholders, clearly communicating priorities, decisions, trade-offs and progress.
- Establish success measures and feedback loops to improve product adoption, quality, scalability and business impact.
- Identify opportunities for standardisation, automation and reusable data capabilities rather than one-off solutions.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
