Data Product Manager

Location: Solihull
Salary: £65,000 – £70,000 + benefits

VIQU has partnered with a global organisation to hire a Data Product Manager to lead their Data and Insight function through a major shift; from reporting and dashboards to governed, AI-ready data products used across 40+ countries.

The organisation is preparing to launch its AI Strategy, and the AI consumable data products it depends on will run through this role. You'll lead a team of analysts and BI developers, act as the bridge between technical delivery and business stakeholders whilst enforcing a federated, data-mesh style operating model.

Duties of the Data Product Manager

  • Own the roadmap and lifecycle for certified data products e.g.: datasets, dashboards, semantic models and AI-enabled features.
  • Leverage data for insight generation and decision-making.
  • Ensure the organisation is "AI ready", by ensuring AI tools only access trusted data, and that quality tier is disclosed in AI outputs.
  • Line manage a team of Data Analysts and BI Developers.
  • Translating business needs into clear specifications, and embedding data products into decision-making.
  • Driving data literacy and adoption across the organisation.
  • Occasionally act as a business analyst, helping to bridge the gap between non technical and technical stakeholders.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
