OSB Group is undertaking a significant transformation programme, building new cloud-based customer journeys and experiences supported by a modern enterprise data architecture. In parallel, the Group Data Office is responsible for maintaining a complex legacy data landscape that continues to run the bank today.

This PO will play a key part in helping OSB design and deliver a data strategy that will drive value through innovation and creation of data products, as well as supporting the delivery of Transformation.

Please note this role can be based either in London, Wolverhampton or Chatham in Kent.

What you will be doing:

Your responsibilities will include…

  • Define and drive the vision, strategy and roadmap for data products and platforms, aligned to business objectives and customer outcomes
  • Own the end-to-end lifecycle of data products, from discovery and prioritisation through to delivery and continuous optimisation
  • Partner with business stakeholders, architects and data teams to translate requirements into scalable data solutions and measurable value

  • Lead the development of business cases and engage senior stakeholders to secure alignment, investment and delivery support
  • Embed strong data governance, management and quality practices, working with data owners and stewards to ensure clear accountability
  • Apply Agile and Lean product management methodologies, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver strategic programme objectives
  • Oversee a diverse portfolio of data products and services, including BI and analytics, data APIs, data platforms, delivery risks, machine learning solutions, data models and master data management

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
