Data Product Manager / Data Product Owner – Operational Resilience
📍 Location: UK-Sheffield
💼 Contract: Contract

We are looking for an experienced Data Product Manager / Product Owner to lead the delivery of data products supporting Operational Resilience across Procurement and Real Estate Services.
🔹 Key Responsibilities
- Own the roadmap and backlog for one or more enterprise data products
- Translate business needs into clear product requirements, use cases, acceptance criteria, and measurable outcomes
- Drive data products through the end-to-end product lifecycle
- Partner with Data Engineers, Architects, Analysts, and Governance teams to define data models, contracts, metadata, lineage, quality, and access controls
- Drive data quality, remediation, and continuous improvement
- Publish and manage Data Products through the enterprise Data Fabric
- Lead Agile delivery including backlog management, prioritisation, sprint planning, demos, and releases
- Drive stakeholder engagement, adoption, communications, and user enablement
- Manage dependencies, risks, and delivery blockers across multiple teams

🔹 Required Experience
- Strong experience in Data Product Management / Data Product Ownership / Data & Analytics
- Hands-on understanding of Operational Resilience, including service impact tolerances, dependencies, incidents, outages, DR/BCP, and resilience testing
- Strong knowledge of Data Architecture, Data Modelling, and Data Governance
- Experience with data quality, metadata, lineage, and data management
- Strong stakeholder management and requirements gathering skills
- Experience managing data assets, KPIs, semantic models, and reporting solutions
- Strong Agile delivery experience with JIRA & Confluence
- Technical literacy in SQL, Python, and cloud data platforms
- Experience with GCP / BigQuery is desirable
