Data Projects Lead (6-Month Fixed-Term Contract)
Location: London Working Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days in the office, 2 days working from home)
About Bulk™
Bulk™ is on an incredible journey, with a mission to transform the business from a manufacturing-led retailer to a destination brand for active nutrition. We disrupt the sports nutrition industry through bold marketing campaigns that help people think differently about our brand. We’re looking for passionate risk-takers with a thirst for challenges, an affinity for digital, and deep insights into nutrition, health, fitness, and sports.
About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Marketing Insights, the Data Projects Lead (FTC) takes senior responsibility for the data architecture fundamental to the marketing and commercial function. This is a hands-on, technical role for someone comfortable diving into the finer details.
You will spearhead a step-change in how our data is modelled, connected, and maintained, ensuring pipelines, platforms, and integrations are robust, efficient, and scalable. You will play a pivotal role in guaranteeing the quality, continuity, and availability of insights through this phase of evolution.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and deliver strategic data model improvement projects to enhance efficiency, performance, reliability, and scalability, across Bulk’s marketing and commercial analytics stack.
- Design, re-architect, and maintain ETL/ELT processes using DBT, ensuring data is cleaned, modelled, and transformed for analytics and activation.
- Lead the design, mapping, and migration of data models and pipelines whilst safeguarding data integrity and minimising disruption to reporting and activation during platform and source system evolutions.
- Oversee the ingestion, validation, and integration of marketing performance, transactional, and product data into BigQuery from various source systems and platforms.
- Work collaboratively with external development partners and the digital product team, scoping, specifying, and implementing data flows, event tracking, and platform connections.
- Build and maintain Tableau dashboards to ensure consistent reporting continuity.
- Partner with e-commerce and merchandising teams, analysing on-site customer journeys while safeguarding tracking and measurement as the digital ecosystem evolves.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
