Temporary Information Governance Officer
1 Month Contract
Monday to Friday
(Full time - 40 hours per week with flex)
Hybrid or Remote
£16-£18 per hour
Starting Monday 28th Sep
We're working with an established arts organisation seeking temporary support within its Records team. This role will support the admin and processing of a Subject Access Request (SAR), helping ensure information is accurately reviewed, organised and prepared within strict deadlines.
The Role
Key responsibilities include:
- Ability to review records and identify personal data.
- Carrying out redactions and preparing disclosure documents.
- Liaising with internal teams to gather and collate information.
- Maintaining accurate trackers, records and case notes.
- Handling confidential information in line with Data Protection requirements.
- Supporting the administration of a Subject Access Request from review through to disclosure.
- Escalating any complex queries where required.

About You
- Previous experience supporting or handling Subject Access Requests (SARs) is highly desirable.
- Candidates with Freedom Of Information (FOI), Information Governance, Records Management, Compliance or Data Administration experience will also be considered.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Comfortable reviewing large volumes of information and documentation.
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines.
- Confident handling sensitive and confidential information.
- Working knowledge of Data Protection principles is advantageous.
