About The Dispute Service
The Dispute Service (TDS) operates statutory tenancy deposit schemes across the UK, including the Tenancy Deposit Scheme in England & Wales, SafeDeposits Scotland and TDS Northern Ireland, together with tenancy redress and ombudsman services.
Job Opportunity
We have an opportunity within our Technology team to join them as a Data Protection Analyst.
This is a secondment opportunity for 12-months. The position will be full-time, based at our TDS office in Hemel Hempstead and will follow our hybrid working policy of a minimum of 2 days a week in the office.
Salary: £38,000 per annum.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Subject Access Requests (SARs), erasure requests and other data subject rights requests.
- Validate requests and maintain case records.
- Prepare disclosure packs and supporting documentation.
- Support compliance with UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018 and internal policies.
- Assist with audits, reviews and assurance activities.
- Support the Data Governance Framework.
- Assist with reporting on data quality, compliance and risks.

Requirements
To be considered for this opportunity you must:
- Have a good working knowledge of UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
- Have experience in a privacy, compliance, governance, risk, information management or administrative role.
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain data protection requirements to a range of stakeholders.
- Be experienced in producing reports and management information.
- Experience managing Subject Access Requests (SARs) is desirable.
- Be proficient in Microsoft 365 applications, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams.
