Job Title: Data Protection Analyst

A leading financial services organisation is looking for a Data Protection Analyst to support its Compliance and Privacy functions.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in compliance or data protection who is looking to broaden their exposure within a regulated environment.

Salary and Work Arrangement

  • Salary: up to £45,000 plus benefits
  • Work Arrangement: Hybrid working: 3 days in office

Key Responsibilities

  • Support compliance monitoring, governance, and regulatory reporting activities.
  • Manage and coordinate DSARs and other data subject rights requests.
  • Maintain data protection records, data maps, and processing inventories.
  • Assist with DPIAs, privacy reviews, and breach investigations.
  • Support regulatory horizon scanning and policy governance.
  • Prepare management information, committee papers, and compliance reporting.
  • Maintain compliance registers, trackers, and documentation.
  • Coordinate evidence gathering for audits, reviews, and regulatory requests.

Required Experience

  • Experience within Compliance or Data Protection
  • Understanding of UK financial services regulation and/or UK GDPR.
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Analytical, pragmatic, and able to manage competing priorities.
