Futures are currently supporting a national policing organisation looking to engage an experienced Data Protection professional to provide specialist governance and assurance across key national programmes.
The role will focus on embedding data protection throughout design, procurement, migration, implementation, and operational readiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop data protection governance frameworks across national policing programmes.
- Provide assurance across suppliers, platforms, procurement, contracts, and data migration.
- Apply UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018 requirements.
- Manage data protection risks, actions, and stakeholder requirements.

Essential Experience
- Strong UK GDPR and DPA 2018 expertise.
- Proven delivery of core data protection documentation.
- Experience across supplier, procurement, and contractual assurance.
- Strong stakeholder management within policing, government, or similarly regulated environments.
