Data Quality Analyst
12-month contract
Fully remote
£200/day paid in GBP
We’re working with a London Market insurer looking to bring on an experienced Data Quality Analyst for an initial 12-month contract assignment.
You’ll work within the Data Governance team, using SQL to profile data, identify quality issues and investigate their root causes. You’ll also develop and maintain data-quality rules and work closely with UK-based business and technical stakeholders to support remediation.
Key responsibilities
- Profile and analyse data using SQL
- Identify data-quality issues and investigate root causes
- Develop, test and maintain data-quality rules
- Translate business requirements into validation logic
- Support the remediation of identified issues
- Maintain clear documentation and audit evidence
- Report progress, risks and data-quality trends

What we’re looking for
- At least three years’ data-quality experience (mandatory)
- London market insurance experience (mandatory)
- Advanced SQL skills (mandatory)
- Strong experience developing data-quality rules
- Previous experience working within the insurance sector
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Strong documentation and stakeholder-management skills
- Snowflake experience is strongly preferred
- DQPro experience would be beneficial but is not essential
Working arrangements
This is a fully remote opportunity. You must be exclusively available between 9:00am and 5:30pm UK time, Monday to Friday, and able to adjust your working hours when the UK moves between GMT and BST.

Rate: Maximum £200 per day, paid in GBP
Hours: 7.5 working hours per day, plus lunch
Start: Must be available to start within two weeks of offer
Screening: BPSS-equivalent background screening required
