Ampere’s research products track millions of TV, film, and video games titles throughout their lifecycles. The accuracy of this data is crucial for our clients’ understanding of the media market. We are looking to recruit a full-time Data Quality Analyst to support Ampere's suite of research products. Working closely with the Data Quality Lead, analysts, and development teams, the successful candidate will help maintain and improve existing data quality processes, investigate and resolve data issues, monitor data collection systems, and contribute to the development of new data pipelines and automated monitoring solutions for metadata processing and issue detection. The role offers the opportunity to work across a wide range of data quality initiatives, helping to ensure the reliability, consistency, and integrity of Ampere's data products.

The Opportunity
- Build on your experience with a team of globally acclaimed experts in the media and entertainment industry in the heart of London.
- Develop technical and analytical skills by working with large-scale datasets and real-world data challenges.
- Gain experience across data quality and data engineering workflows.
- Contribute to the development of tools and processes that directly improve Ampere’s research products.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of Ampere's data pipelines, processing workflows, and automated/manual data cleaning processes (SQL and Python).
- Monitor data quality, completeness, accuracy, and consistency using existing and new monitoring solutions, providing regular reporting to product leads.
- Investigate, diagnose, and help resolve data quality issues, documenting findings and contributing to continuous process improvement.
- Develop and maintain automated data quality checks, monitoring tools, reporting processes, and metadata validation pipelines.
- Collaborate with product leads, analysts, developers, and the sales team to incorporate internal and client feedback into data quality improvements and workflow enhancements.
- Maintain and improve data quality processes, operational workflows, and issue detection capabilities across Ampere's analyst services products.

- A 2:1 or equivalent degree
Essential
Skills & Experiences
- Strong interpersonal skills – the role will require the candidate to make sense of a diverse set of requirements from internal and external stakeholders, agree on the optimal solution, and communicate this appropriately.
- Experience either through profession or education in complex numerical tasks.
- Strategic thinking - the role will require the successful candidate to weigh up the optimal short and long term solutions for a problem, and choose appropriately based on the business context.
Desirable
- Python and SQL knowledge
- Experience with data workflows, handling imperfect source information which has required some degree of automated and/or manual cleansing and validation
