We're working with a global financial services leader that provides a wide range of financial products and services, including consumer banking, credit, corporate and investment banking, securities brokerage, and wealth management.

This organisation is seeking a Data Quality Analyst to maintain the integrity of supervisory and transaction monitoring controls across global markets. You will oversee the full data quality lifecycle, ensuring data-driven decisions are built on a reliable and governed foundation.

The Role

  • Identify critical data elements and define data quality rules through structured SQL reviews
  • Monitor and perform root cause analysis on data quality exceptions, coordinating timely remediation
  • Manage and prioritise data-related risks, dependencies, and issues
  • Conduct ad-hoc data analysis to interrogate, reconcile, and validate datasets
  • Consult with business users to assess integration requirements and identify opportunities for system enhancements
  • Develop and implement mitigation strategies for identified data gaps and deficiencies

What You'll Need

  • Proficiency in SQL for complex data interrogation and structured data reviews
  • Experience in data quality management, including rule definition, threshold monitoring, and exception investigation
  • Ability to perform root cause analysis on data issues and translate findings into remediation actions
  • Understanding of risk and control frameworks and governance standards
  • Strong analytical capabilities for ad-hoc analysis and data reconciliation
  • Clear and confident communication skills to present findings to stakeholders
