About the Role
We are seeking 2 people to join the Data Quality team. This will support provision of a centralised function to ensure that the quality of data collected is as high as possible. The focus is the Patient Administration System (PAS), responding to routine checks and addressing user queries. Expert guidance is provided to ensure both accuracy and singularity of each patient record and activities are recorded to high quality NHS data standards. This contributes to the Electronic Patient Record that must be well maintained to ensure continuity of high quality clinical care.
Responsibilities
- Respond to enquiries providing day to day support to a wide range of data collectors across the trust, including expert guidance to users of the Patient Administration System
- Support analytical work of a business area through the analysis of data management processes within Clinical Management Groups (CMGs) and, work in partnership with service managers and team leaders in appraising and promoting improvement in data handling techniques.
- Help to maintain quality and content of data held on UHL administrative and clinical systems through regular checking and discreet projects.
- Process data quality audit in line with national quality assurance standards & protocols.
