Job Description
The Registrar and Secretary’s Office at Leeds Beckett University is looking to appoint a Data Quality Officer. The post holder will join the External Reporting & Data Quality Team and will work collaboratively with teams across the University to drive forward data quality improvements and support regular operational reporting of student data.
The successful candidate will develop reporting solutions to monitor and target data quality enhancements, regularly meeting with stakeholders to gather requirements and discuss live issues. They will have experience of analysing large datasets and extracting key information for monitoring and reporting purposes. They will enjoy investigating complex issues and combining datasets from different sources, as well as explaining their findings to non-technical audiences.

This post is key to supporting the effective management of data in our systems. They will provide guidance on the appropriate use and interpretation of data, seeking out opportunities to inform improvements to business processes.
