Data & Reporting Manager

Location: Hybrid/Home Working – Scotland based

Right to work in the UK – Essential

Monday to Friday 8-5pm

We are looking for an experienced Data & Reporting Manager to lead our Business Intelligence function, shape our data strategy and build high-quality reporting solutions that make a real impact across the business.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys combining technical expertise with leadership, helping transform data into meaningful insights while developing a high-performing team.

What You will Be Doing

As our Data & Reporting Manager, you will:

  • Lead and develop a team of three Business Intelligence Analysts.
  • Drive data governance, quality and security across the Group.
  • Design, build and maintain modern data pipelines and analytics solutions.
  • Develop robust data models that support business intelligence and reporting.
  • Own and enhance our reporting platforms, dashboards and KPI suite.
  • Work closely with stakeholders across the business to understand reporting requirements and deliver valuable insights.
  • Support strategic planning, forecasting and business performance analysis.
  • Champion continuous improvement in data engineering, reporting and analytics.

What We are Looking For

You will bring a blend of technical expertise, commercial awareness and people leadership, including:

  • Strong SQL skills with experience writing and optimising complex queries.
  • Experience building and maintaining ELT/ETL data pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of data modelling, including dimensional modelling (star schema).
  • Experience integrating data through REST APIs.
  • Previous experience leading or developing a technical team.
  • Knowledge of data governance, quality and best practice.

Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Fivetran, dbt Cloud, Power BI administration or recognised data management frameworks such as DAMA would be highly advantageous.
