Data Research Analyst
Job Description Summary
We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Research Analyst to join our European Research team. This role sits at the heart of our real estate business, ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and accessibility of market data used to inform investment, leasing, and strategic decision-making. Working closely with researchers, brokers, senior stakeholders, and global colleagues, you will take ownership of property market datasets, transform complex information into meaningful insights, and help deliver high-quality reporting, dashboards, and client-ready outputs. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data, has a passion for continuous improvement and technology, and wants learn and contribute to projects on both a local and global scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain, validate, and enhance property market and other financial data across multiple datasets, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Collect, cleanse, and manage both aggregate and transaction-level market data from internal and external sources.
- Work closely with Research teams across Europe to support the development and maintenance of existing and new datasets.
- Prepare and distribute data for internal stakeholders, brokers, clients, and senior leadership teams.
- Support the analysis of market trends and sharing data and outputs with colleagues and clients.
- Support the creation and maintenance of dashboards, reports, presentations, and data visualisations to support decision-making.
- Support the tracking and reporting of key market fundamentals, including rents, leasing activity, vacancy rates, yields, sales volumes, and market trends.
- Respond to data requests from Research, business stakeholders, and external clients, delivering accurate information within agreed timescales.
- Partner with colleagues across global teams to drive consistency in data standards, reporting methodologies, and best practices.
- Identify opportunities to improve data processes, automation, reporting efficiency, and data quality, and support the implementation of agreed changes.
- Ensure data governance, ownership, and integrity are maintained across all reporting outputs.

Skills & Experience
- Experience working in a data analysis, research analyst, market intelligence, or similar data-focused role.
- Advanced Excel skills, including data manipulation, analysis, lookup functions, pivot tables, and reporting.
- Experience working with databases and SQL for extracting and managing data.
- Experience creating dashboards and visualisations; Power BI experience is advantageous but not essential.
- Comfortable working with cloud-based data platforms and large datasets.
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to checking, validating, and improving data quality.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain data and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior stakeholders.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and take ownership of deliverables.
- Interest in emerging technologies, data innovation, automation, and AI tools.
- Collaborative mindset and experience working across different teams and geographical locations.
- Experience within real estate, property, financial services, research, or a similar commercial environment would be beneficial but is not essential.
