Colliers

Colliers is a leading global commercial real estate company, providing a full range of services across all core sectors, including office, industrial, retail, and hospitality, as well as many specialised property types. The UK business is headquartered in London, with over 900 specialists throughout 16 offices across the UK and Ireland delivering expert advice to real estate occupiers, developers, and investors.

Job Role: Data Researcher

We are seeking a proactive and highly organised Data Researcher to join our small, dedicated Business Development (BD) team. This role is vital to supporting our national Rating division – a team of 140 specialists across the UK – by ensuring the smooth operation of its activities. Your work will be meticulous and detail-oriented, focusing on accurate lead generation and in-depth portfolio research. The ideal candidate will have a keen investigative mindset, capable of mapping complex property portfolios and corporate structures while ensuring our data remains clean, accurate, and actionable.

Job Description

  • Data Entry & Management: Source and verify data from various platforms to maintain and update internal databases (including property, company, and client information). Uphold data integrity and confidentiality through regular quality assurance checks and required updates.
  • Team Coordination: Collaborate closely with team members to optimise workflow and communication. Contribute to team meetings and ensure timely and effective responses to internal requests.
  • Research & Reporting: Conduct in-depth analysis of property portfolios and complex landlord assets, alongside running regular queries to track key team metrics. Compile all findings into structured reports and consistent updates that follow established team guidelines.
  • Document Administration: Create, format, and edit key team materials (such as contracts and summary sheets) while maintaining an organised digital filing system to ensure all files are accurately labelled, properly stored, and easily accessible.
  • Client Interaction: Act as a point of contact when issuing contracts to potential clients, providing exceptional customer service and promptly addressing inquiries or redirecting them to the appropriate team members.
  • AI: Leverage AI tools (e.g., Co-pilot) to increase efficiency, while applying critical thinking to validate all outputs. Proactively identify and propose innovative applications for AI within our team and the wider business.
  • Ad hoc Tasks: Assist with ad hoc requests and projects, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
