Data Science and Analytics Lead

Our client is a leading user-generated video marketplace, helping creators monetize their content while supplying video to publishers, broadcasters, brands, and digital platforms worldwide.

As demand for high-quality AI training data accelerates, they're uniquely positioned to turn their extensive video library into valuable datasets, metadata, and insights, and they need someone who can get more value out of the data they already hold.

This is a hands-on role. There is no analytics team to hand work off to, you are the data function. You'll take a business question, find the relevant data, run the analysis, build the model or the dashboard, and explain the answer to the people who need it.

We're looking for someone with strong, recent hands-on experience in analytics and data science who's ready to take greater ownership. If you've moved away from writing R and SQL yourself, or you'd rather advise than build, this isn't the right fit.

The opportunity

You'll own the day-to-day development and delivery of the data, analytics, and reporting capability across the business. Working with Commercial, Finance, Operations, Marketing, and Technology, you'll answer the questions that matter commercially, improve the quality and reliability of the data underneath them, and build the reporting and models that turn a growing video library into decisions people actually make. The stack is Snowflake, Matillion, Tableau, R, and Python, and you'll work across all of it.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
