Role Description
This is a part-time remote role for a Data Science Intern. As a Data Science Intern at Qabas, you will work on tasks such as data collection, cleaning, and preparation for analysis. You will apply statistical methods and data science techniques to extract actionable insights from datasets. Additionally, you will be responsible for creating reports, visualisations, and presentations to communicate findings effectively to internal teams or clients. You will engage in problem-solving and predictive analytics to support projects across various industries and domains.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Data Science, Data Analysis, and Data Analytics
- Proficiency with Analytical Skills and a solid understanding of Statistics
- Experience with data manipulation and visualisation tools (e.g., Python, R, SQL, Tableau, or similar)
- Knowledge of machine learning techniques or predictive modeling is a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for presenting data insights
- Ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative environment
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
