About the Company

We are hiring on behalf of one of our clients for the position of Data Science Intern. This remote internship is designed for individuals who are passionate about data, analytics, and machine learning and are looking to gain practical experience by contributing to real-world projects in a collaborative environment.

About the Role

The selected candidates will work alongside experienced professionals, strengthen their technical skills, and gain exposure to industry-standard tools and workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and preprocess structured and unstructured datasets.
  • Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends and actionable insights.
  • Assist in developing, training, and evaluating machine learning models.
  • Analyze datasets to support business and project objectives.
  • Create reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to communicate findings.
  • Work with Python libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, and Matplotlib.
  • Collaborate with project teams to deliver assigned tasks within deadlines.
  • Document project findings, methodologies, and recommendations.
  • Participate in regular project discussions and progress reviews.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor's or master's degree in data science, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.

Required Skills

  • Basic proficiency in Python programming.
  • Understanding of statistics, probability, and data analysis concepts.
  • Familiarity with SQL and relational databases.
  • Foundational knowledge of machine learning techniques.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or similar tools.
  • Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization platforms.
  • Basic understanding of Git or version control systems.
  • Interest in artificial intelligence, predictive analytics, and data-driven decision-making.
