Data Scientist – Python & SQL

Start Date: 18th August 2026
Location: London, UK
Job Type: Full-time
Experience: 2–5 years
Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 per year
Education: Master’s Degree – Mandatory

About the Role

We are looking for a Data Scientist with strong hands-on experience in Python, SQL, data analysis, and machine learning. The ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree and practical experience working with datasets, developing machine learning models, and generating data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse, clean, and transform datasets using Python and SQL.
  • Perform exploratory data analysis and identify trends and patterns.
  • Develop, test, and optimize machine learning models.
  • Perform feature engineering and model evaluation.
  • Create data visualizations and communicate insights to stakeholders.
  • Work with technical and business teams to solve data-driven problems.

Required Skills

  • 2–5 years of relevant industry experience
  • Strong Python programming skills
  • Strong SQL skills
  • Experience with Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn
  • Good knowledge of machine learning and statistics
  • Experience with Matplotlib, Seaborn, Power BI, or Tableau
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field – Mandatory
