Data Scientist – Python & SQL
Start Date: 18th August 2026
Location: London, UK
Job Type: Full-time
Experience: 2–5 years
Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 per year
Education: Master’s Degree – Mandatory
About the Role
We are looking for a Data Scientist with strong hands-on experience in Python, SQL, data analysis, and machine learning. The ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree and practical experience working with datasets, developing machine learning models, and generating data-driven insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse, clean, and transform datasets using Python and SQL.
- Perform exploratory data analysis and identify trends and patterns.
- Develop, test, and optimize machine learning models.
- Perform feature engineering and model evaluation.
- Create data visualizations and communicate insights to stakeholders.
- Work with technical and business teams to solve data-driven problems.

Required Skills
- 2–5 years of relevant industry experience
- Strong Python programming skills
- Strong SQL skills
- Experience with Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn
- Good knowledge of machine learning and statistics
- Experience with Matplotlib, Seaborn, Power BI, or Tableau
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field – Mandatory

Candidate Requirements
- UK-based candidates only
- This role does not provide visa sponsorship, now or in the future
- Candidates must be open to relocating within the UK based on client project requirements
- Master’s degree is mandatory
Salary
£35,000 – £45,000 per year, depending on interview performance and experience.
