What you'll do:
- Join a team that's shaping the future of Sky through data. Using machine learning, AI and advanced analytics, our Data Scientists solve high-impact customer and commercial challenges at scale. From personalised experiences and intelligent decisioning to next-generation AI solutions, we work with cutting-edge technology and vast data assets to deliver measurable business value. - Be responsible for developing and driving actionable customer intelligence from our core data assets using advanced analytics
- Develop advanced analytics algorithms exploiting our rich data assets including product holding, demographics, product usage, customer service interactions and customer metrics
- Develop predictive, forecasting and optimisation models using large-scale customer and commercial data, supporting use cases such as churn prediction, customer lifetime value, segmentation, demand forecasting, elasticity modelling and intelligent decisioning
- Collaborate with senior data scientists and stakeholders to define project objectives, develop analytical frameworks, and translate business requirements into analytical solutions
- Engage with our technology teams and data engineers to build compliant, efficient and scalable solutions for managing customer treatments at Sky
- Strengthen our internal data science capabilities by continuously innovating and driving new ideas, engaging in training

What you'll bring:
- Proven experience in at least two advanced analytical areas including, but not limited to Predictive Modelling, Optimisation, Unsupervised Learning and NLP in a commercial setting
- Experience building and deploying large-scale data science solutions (preferably within B2C companies) in a cloud environment (we use GCP VertexAI in the team)
- Very good Python programming skills and experience with Machine Learning libraries such as scikit-learn, XGBoost, Keras, Tensorflow etc
- Familiarity with ETL concepts and ability to write scalable SQL code (familiarity with BigQuery and working with nested data a plus)
- Ability to present your results concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to quickly understand a business objective, problem-solving to deliver a data science solution delivering commercial value

How you’ll work
- We've adopted a hybrid working approach to give more flexibility on where and how we work. The hybrid working expectations for this role are 2 days in the office per week
