DV Cleared Data Scientist / Machine Learning Consultant

Join one of the UK's leading Defence & Security practices, working on high impact programmes that support national security and help government organisations unlock value from data, AI and machine learning.
You will work alongside clients to solve complex challenges using cutting-edge AI, machine learning and data science techniques. You'll be involved throughout the project lifecycle, from understanding user needs and developing prototypes through to deploying scalable, enterprise-grade solutions.
What You'll Be Doing
- Applying Data Science, Machine Learning and AI techniques to solve complex business and operational challenges.
- Designing, developing and deploying innovative AI and analytics solutions.
- Working directly with Defence and Security clients to translate requirements into practical outcomes.
- Building prototypes, proof-of-concepts and production-ready solutions.
- Supporting the delivery of large-scale transformation and technology programmes.
- Contributing to new business opportunities, proposals and client engagements.
- Mentoring colleagues and supporting the growth of Deloitte's AI and Data Science capabilities.
- Staying at the forefront of emerging AI, Machine Learning and Data Science technologies.

What We're Looking For

- Active Developed Vetting (DV) Clearance.
- Experience applying Data Science, Machine Learning or AI within Defence, Security, Government or research environments.
- Strong understanding of Machine Learning techniques and architectures, including Generative AI, Transformers and neural networks.
- Python and common Data Science libraries.
- TensorFlow, PyTorch or similar machine learning frameworks.
- AWS, Azure or Google Cloud AI and Data Science services.
- Ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
