Role Overview
As a Data Scientist, you'll play a pivotal role in designing and deploying advanced AI models that solve complex business challenges across Safran Seats. Collaborating with the AI Project Leader and cross-functional teams, you'll identify AI opportunities, define project requirements, and drive initiatives that push the boundaries of data-driven solutions in aerospace.
Key Responsibilities
- Leverage Python and machine learning frameworks to build scalable AI algorithms.
- Process complex datasets.
- Create impactful reports and visualizations for stakeholders.
- Ensure robust, compliant AI solutions that align with industry standards.
Essential Qualifications
- Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- Excellent programming skills in Python; knowledge of R, SQL, or other languages is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset ideally focused on AI and machine learning.
- Ability to communicate complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Good project management skills, able to handle multiple projects concurrently.
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Collaborative team player, committed to continuous improvement.

Desirable Qualifications
- Extensive experience with Python and machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
- Experience in developing and deploying machine learning models in production environments.
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) for AI model deployment.
- Knowledge of aircraft design and development, including ergonomics and testing.
- Understanding of aerospace industry regulations and standards.
