We're hiring on behalf of a global leader in innovative technological and research solutions for the healthcare industry, renowned for its extensive network of over 5.8 million physician members worldwide and its significant presence on the Tokyo Stock Exchange. This organization is dedicated to providing high-quality healthcare market research, data collection, and insight support services, partnering with pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device companies to deliver actionable insights.

The Role

  • Design, develop, and maintain statistical, probabilistic, and simulation-based models to address complex business questions.
  • Build analytical assets that can be reused as products, decision-support tools, or operational capabilities.
  • Develop frameworks to enhance operational and commercial decision-making, evaluating trade-offs and potential outcomes.
  • Validate models using appropriate testing techniques and monitor performance over time.
  • Partner closely with Business Analysts, Engineering, Product, and operational teams to translate models into scalable production solutions.
  • Explain modelling approaches, assumptions, and results clearly to non-technical audiences.

What You'll Need

  • Strong grounding in applied statistics, modelling, data science, operational research, economics, mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline.
  • Proven experience building models that support real-world decisions, products, or operational processes, working with uncertainty and imperfect datasets.
  • Ability to translate loosely defined problems into practical analytical solutions with strong problem decomposition and structured thinking skills.
  • Proficiency in coding with Python or R, with experience developing analytical solutions in code rather than primarily through spreadsheets.
  • Experience taking analytical models from prototype through to operational deployment.
  • Familiarity with core technical skills such as statistical modelling, machine learning, simulation modelling, optimisation techniques, and experimental design.
