Data Scientist

London (Hybrid) | £63,000 + Bonus

Are you a Data Scientist who enjoys working with stakeholders as much as building models? This opportunity is ideal for someone who wants to stay hands-on technically while having greater exposure to clients, business problems, and AI strategy. You'll be working directly with organisations to design, build, and deploy Data Science and AI solutions that create real impact.

The Company

They are a leading consulting business with a growing investment in Data Science, Analytics, and AI. Their team works across a range of industries, helping clients solve complex challenges through machine learning, analytics, automation, and emerging AI technologies. As demand for AI transformation continues to grow, the team is increasingly moving beyond advisory work into building and deploying technical solutions directly into client environments.

The Role

You'll split your time between delivering client projects and helping develop new AI and data capabilities internally. You'll be:

  • Working directly with clients to understand business challenges and shape technical solutions
  • Building Data Science, machine learning, and AI solutions using Python
  • Supporting AI transformation projects across a range of industries
  • Taking part in workshops, stakeholder discussions, and solution demos
  • Developing internal tools and AI-driven products
  • Working across analytics, machine learning, automation, and Generative AI initiatives

This role is particularly well suited to someone who enjoys the communication and problem-solving side of consulting, not just the technical delivery.

Your Skills & Experience

  • Strong Python and Data Science fundamentals
  • Experience applying analytics or machine learning to business problems
  • Comfortable presenting ideas and insights to stakeholders
  • Experience in consulting, professional services, or another client-facing environment would be highly beneficial
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Interest in AI, machine learning, and emerging technologies
  • Pragmatic problem-solver who enjoys working through ambiguity
  • Exposure to cloud technologies, SQL, APIs, workflow automation, or Generative AI would be an added bonus.
