About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Scientist to join our client's dynamic team. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess an MSc, MEng, or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Science, Data Science, or a related discipline. Demonstrated experience analyzing manufacturing, operational, or quality datasets is essential. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or similar is required, alongside strong skills in SQL databases and data visualization tools. A solid understanding of statistical analysis, data modeling, and machine learning techniques is necessary to succeed in this role. Additionally, excellent communication and problem-solving skills are vital to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present complex findings to diverse audiences.
Responsibilities
- Analyzing manufacturing, quality, and product performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Developing analytical models, dashboards, and reporting tools to enable stakeholders to make informed decisions
- Applying statistical and machine learning techniques to support engineering initiatives and optimize processes
- Defining data and reporting requirements in collaboration with engineering and digital teams to ensure alignment with project goals
- Supporting simulation and modeling activities using real-world data
- Presenting findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clarity and actionable insights
