DATA SCIENTIST
SALARY: £50K - £60K
LOCATION: LONDON | HYBRID
Data Idols are working with an established organisation looking for a Data Scientist to join their growing data function.
This is an opportunity to join a collaborative team working on complex modelling problems, using Data Science and Machine Learning to support better commercial decisions. The role will have a particular focus on credit, making it a great opportunity for someone with experience working with financial or risk-based data.

As a Data Scientist, you’ll develop and improve statistical and Machine Learning models, working with large and complex datasets to identify patterns, understand performance and deliver actionable insights.
- You’ll be involved throughout the modelling lifecycle, from initial exploration and feature development through to implementation, monitoring and ongoing optimisation.
- You’ll work closely with technical and non-technical teams across the organisation, helping turn complex data into practical solutions that can be used to improve business outcomes.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Exposure to credit, risk or financial datasets
- Strong Python skills
- Strong SQL skills
- Experience working with large and complex datasets
- Understanding of the end-to-end model development lifecycle
- Strong statistical and analytical problem-solving skills
